Qualifications

Eugene Steckley, BASc, MBA, P.App., AACI

Eugene has extensive experience in the field of Real Estate Valuation and Consulting, beginning in 2006 as candidate appraiser and then in 2009 as a commercial appraiser fully accredited by the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Since 2011, as the first professional designated by the REIC (Real Estate Institute of Canada) as a Certified Reserve Planner (CRP) in British Columbia, Eugene has been involved in the preparation of depreciation reports throughout BC, with a focus on bareland stratas, townhouse and wood-framed apartment stratas and commercial stratas.

Eugene has been involved in the initial course development of UBC Sauder School of Business’s Courses in Reserve Fund Planning in 2013 and 2014. For over 15 years, Eugene has been a strata council member and president for a small apartment strata and therefore is well versed in the workings of strata corporations. Eugene has established strong working relationships with strata management firms and strata councils throughout the Province of BC.
